Not legal or financial advice
The Service helps you organise documents and instructions. It does not provide legal, tax, financial or medical advice, and it does not take account of the laws of any particular country. You should consult a qualified professional in your own jurisdiction for decisions about wills, estates, insurance or finances.
No guarantee of release
The Pulse and recipient-release features depend on the availability of internet, third-party providers and your own check-in behaviour. We do not warrant that a release will occur, succeed, or occur within a specific time, and the Service should be used alongside — not instead of — a properly executed will or other legal instrument.
Claim review is not a legal determination
A missed Pulse check-in never means we treat anyone as deceased. Where a Trusted Recipient submits a claim, our review team assesses the identity and authority documentation submitted and records an administrative determination for the purposes of operating the Service only. That determination is not a legal finding of death, incapacity, executorship or inheritance rights, has no effect outside the Service, and does not replace a death certificate, a court order or a decision by any registry or authority. We may decline a claim, ask for more documentation, or pause a claim where the documentation is unclear or disputed.
What a recipient can and cannot receive
A Trusted Recipient can only ever receive the specific documents you authorised for that person in advance. The default is nothing. If you authorise nothing, an approved claim releases nothing — we will not disclose the contents of your vault, the number of items in it, or even whether a particular document exists. Releases are made through a secure portal that requires a fresh one-time code each time and produces download links that expire within minutes.
Account freeze and 30-day deletion
Where a claim results in a recorded death determination, the account is frozen and, once the claim is completed, a 30-day deletion countdown begins, after which vault content is erased. An incapacity determination places the account on hold instead and never starts a deletion countdown; a hold is only lifted after the account holder re-verifies their email with a one-time code and our review team approves the request — a Pulse check-in alone does not lift a hold. If you believe an account state is wrong, contact support@myglobalvault.com immediately.
Security limitations
Vault content is protected with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS in transit—the same standards trusted by banks and governments—together with per-user row-level access controls. Even so, no online service is immune from compromise. You are responsible for keeping your password and recovery details safe and for vetting your nominated recipient.
Document Copies, Originals and Certification
My Global Vault securely stores digital copies of documents uploaded by users. Uploading a document does not make it an original, certified copy, authenticated document, notarised document or legally verified document. If you upload a document that was already certified, My Global Vault stores a digital copy of that certified document.
My Global Vault does not certify, authenticate, notarise, verify, renew or extend the certification of any document. Any certification shown on an uploaded copy remains subject to the requirements of the organisation or authority receiving it.
Some organisations may require an original, a newly or recently certified copy, or certification completed according to their own rules. Requirements and accepted certification periods may differ between organisations, countries and jurisdictions. You are responsible for checking the receiving organisation’s requirements. My Global Vault does not guarantee that a stored or downloaded copy will be accepted by a third party as an original or certified document.
Free plan & Lifetime Premium
My Global Vault is free to use, letting you store up to 5 documents with a maximum of 10 MB per document, with no separate total-storage quota. Lifetime Premium (US$14.99, or the local-currency equivalent shown by your app store) is an optional one-time in-app purchase via your app store’s billing system that lets you store up to 100 documents (still 10 MB per document, with no separate total-storage quota) and unlocks Premium features. Statements about Premium features being available “forever” refer to the operational lifetime of the Service; we cannot guarantee that the Service itself will operate indefinitely. Refunds, chargebacks and payment disputes are handled by your app store (Google Play on Android, the Apple App Store on iPhone) under that store’s policies — not directly by My Global Vault.
🔒 One secure payment · Lifetime access · No subscriptions · No monthly fees · All future Premium features included at no extra cost. If you have already purchased, use “Restore Purchase” in-app to recover Lifetime Premium on a new device signed in with the same app store account.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Global Vault, its directors and employees are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
